A 36" x 48" mixed-media composition on canvas utilizing oil, acrylic, enamel, and collage. The piece captures the erosion of human mentorship, the destabilization of shared knowledge, and the ultimate passing of genuine inspiration under the shadow of modern technology and social media. Using a complex layering technique, I begin with an 'anxious color' background, a disruptive blend of paint and collage that represents the relentless noise of the digital landscape.
I have intentionally created a conflict between the hand-painted and the mechanical: Asking 'WHERE ARE OUR HEROES?' is a futile last attempt of redemption obscured and cancelled. This work is not a question, but a depiction of an absence—the tangible death of our essential connection to guidance in an era of static.

Material: Enamel, acrylic, collage, ink, oil stick on a stretched canvas base. 36" x 48"
